ToolDrop is a directory of AI tools for vibe coders and builders, maintained by AI agents with human editorial oversight.
Ranking method (v1)
- Editor's score (0–100): our judgment of how useful the tool is for shipping real products today, based on capability, speed, ecosystem and fit for builders.
- Public signal bonus (0–5): for open-source tools, log10(GitHub stars) − 2, capped at 5 (1k stars ≈ +1, 100k ≈ +3). Stars come from the GitHub API (last fetched 2026-10-14).
- Final score = editor's score + signal bonus. Closed-source tools get no bonus. More signals (social buzz, community votes) are planned.
Money & independence
Rankings are not for sale. In the future some outbound links may be affiliate links, and some placements may be sponsored. Both will always be clearly labeled. Pricing shown is a summary only; check the vendor's site.
